Perhaps I'll have more coherent things to say later.

In "Supernatural" last night Sam and Dean ended up at a LARP. It was hilarious.

This episode didn't really stand out for me as being particularly remarkable, but I had a surprisingly large amount to say about it despite that.

I wasn't too impressed by the trailer the first time I watched it, but I've watched it a second time and I've decided that I liked it. You can find it on youtube here.

It looks like they paid attention of the visuals from the game. I remember having to climb up one of the towers that you can see in the trailer and while the armor the prince is wearing is what he wears in the second game I'm glad it seems that they had the detail.

I'm still not expecting much from this movie because I enjoyed the game so much, but my low expectations might help me like it more.

I have come to the conclusion that raiding is like eating cheesecake. It's quite excellent in small doses.

At my brother's prompting I watched the first few minutes of season two episode six of "Castle". I just about died from joy and then went and found the first 39 seconds on youtube. The link is here. Watch it. No really.

I have a few thoughts. Bullet point thoughts.

I liked it. The colors, as always, were nice.

Holy shit.

I like it quite a bit. I'm about 3.5 seasons into it and I thought I'd share what about the series I like. It's not a 'reasons to watch' list. It's some of the reason I watch and it's purely personal and in no particular order.

No spoilers beyond basic series knowledge.

I have some brief thoughts about secrets and how they're dealt with in Smallville and Supernatural.

I've thought more about last night's Smallville. Specifically more about Lois and Clark.

I'll keep watching and I'll look forward to the start of next season, but this certainly hasn't ridden over my Star Trek squee.

In a few words my reaction wouldn't really involve words and just flaily hands of fannish glee. It exceeded all of my expectations. I went to this movie expecting to only enjoy it on it's action movie merits. I didn't want to watch it nick-picking in fanish detail, but it took me about five minutes into the movie before I started. It took me about twenty minutes to really get into it, but once I did I loved it. I was able to enjoy it as a Star Trek movie.
